Does FastWispr work offline?

Yes. Dictation runs on your Mac, so you don’t need an internet connection after the speech model is downloaded.

Will it drain my battery?

FastWispr is designed for Apple silicon and uses on-device acceleration where available. Real battery use depends on your Mac, model, and dictation time; we’ll publish measured guidance before launch.

Does it understand different accents?

The default local model is designed for varied English speech, but accuracy naturally differs by speaker, microphone, and environment. A broader-locale fallback is planned; we’ll list verified language support at launch.

Which Macs are supported?

FastWispr requires macOS 15 or later and is designed for Apple silicon Macs. Exact hardware requirements will be confirmed with the release build.

What is the refund policy?
